How to Use Litbuy

A practical guide for first-time users: navigating the spreadsheet, filtering items, and placing your first order.

1Opening the Spreadsheet

Using Litbuy for the first time can feel overwhelming. This guide walks you through the practical steps from opening the spreadsheet to receiving your first order. The litbuy spreadsheet opens in your browser or spreadsheet app. The first sheet is usually a summary or instructions tab. Category tabs are clearly labeled along the bottom: Shoes, Hoodies/Sweaters, T-Shirts, Jackets, and so on.

2Navigating and Filtering

Click a category tab to see items in that section. Each row typically contains: an item image, product name, price, sizing information, and a direct link. Use the search function (Ctrl+F or Cmd+F) to find specific items. Filter by price using spreadsheet sorting features. Sort by price column to find items in your budget. Use color/size filters in columns when available. Check the "New" or "Restock" columns for recent arrivals. Look for "Best Seller" tags to identify proven items.

3Selecting and Ordering

When you find an item you want, note the item code, link, and your preferred size/color. Copy these details. You will need them when contacting the seller. Each spreadsheet has seller contact information, usually in the first tab or a dedicated "Contact" section. Most sellers use messaging apps or automated order forms. Send your item list with codes and sizes.

4The Complete Order Flow

The order flow: 1. Send your item list to the seller. 2. Receive a quote with total price including shipping. 3. Submit payment using the seller's designated method. 4. Wait for QC photos (3-7 days typically). 5. Approve or reject the QC photos. 6. Once approved, the seller ships and provides tracking. Pro tips for first-time users: start with one low-cost item to test the process, read the seller's instructions tab thoroughly before ordering, check community references for any seller you are considering, save the spreadsheet link — it updates with new stock regularly, and be patient with response times; sellers operate across multiple time zones.
